This was our most challenging task yet – three assemblies is one afternoon, each for different age groups in the school – Phew, that was hard work, but we did it! In these assemblies our acting skills were put to the test in our mini role play about friendship. Don’t think we’re ready for the Oscars yet though – maybe next year! The children enjoyed playing spot the difference with each other and liked our picture storyboard.
The children said,
‘Everybody has different talents.’
‘Disabled people need friends too!’
The staff said,
‘The assemblies were so carefully planned to appeal to every age group in our school.’
‘The assembly was so interactive that the children had fun learning!’
