OneForAll: Introduction - Who Are We?

We all have a very different experience of education because we all have varied abilities that have equipped us to be able to deal with every eventuality in education. However, despite our differences we all realised that we share one goal – to create one inclusive education system for all, which will ultimately create a reformed mainstream education system for the new millennium and so One For All (Mainstream in the Millennium) was born!
With our sights firmly set on our business venture we applied to the disabled children’s charity Whizz-Kidz for a No Limits Millennium award, provided by the national lottery Millennium Commission in December 2002 and we were accepted!
See the Whizz-Kidz link or resources page for further information on the charity.
Over the next few months One For All began intensive training with some of the top disability equality organisations in the U.K. including EQuality Training and Disability Equality in Education. With such expertises at hand we learnt more about inclusion and began to set our goals and objectives in an effort to promote inclusion far and wide! For further information on all of our ally organisations see the resources page.
In time the project grew and we had completed the Whizz-Kidz Millennium award scheme by summer 2003. In this time our group presented many highly successful school assemblies, education workshops and conferences. Since September 2003 One For All has been working independently and continues to go from strength to strength.
Now we all have our own plans for further education so we are keen to develop different ways to work. While the delivery of our ideas may change, our message of inclusion will always remain the same and we will continue to provide a quality service.
We know our experience will prove invaluable!
