One For All created

One For All (Mainstream in the Millennium) has been created and our goals and objectives are set so it is time to employ graphic designer Jonny Norridge of New Pollution to create our corporate identity and advertise our plans with leaflets, letter heads and business cards – Thanks Jonny! (If you like the look of our stuff why not visit the newpollution website)

When it all began: January to February 2003

Now the hard work begins and we all go into training to boost our knowledge of inclusion and attend weekly meetings to help form the group. All meetings are aided by the hospitality of Maresa’s mum Caroline who provides a plentiful supply of tea and cake. Thanks Caroline – Well, we have to keep our strength up!

When it all began

Maresa, Lucy and Lindsey are granted a Whizz-Kidz Millennium award from the national lottery Millennium Commission and are invited to the Whizz-Kidz welcome weekend in Cumbria, where we decide to try our hand at zip wiring!

With our budget carefully planned, on our return we begin to have fun spending it on important business supplies to build up our office – Any excuse to shop!

Then we hit the local press in a bid to advertise our plans, so the wheels are set in motion. Lucy and her sister are whisked off to a photo shoot in London to do an article for Company magazine, where they plug the cause – All very swish!
